I decided to finally get started on replacing the Camaro’s springs, ball joints and shocks. I’ve been putting it off since this stuff hasn’t been touched in decades. How’s it going? Well, I just made a run for more cut off disks and I’m only on the first shock.

Thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Try Arc Abrasives Predator cut off wheels found a Fastenal (and maybe other places). They are by far and away the best that we have found and will quickly pay for themselves over the cheepies based on how long they last.

Thanks for the suggestion! Right now it’s more about access. The bottom shock bolts were relatively easy to cut but getting in to the upper one is challenging given the shape of the control arm and the inner fender. A cutting torch would make quick work of it but I don’t have one.

In  the end I had to go small. A Dremel with a cutoff wheel did the trick.
